Soulplace Film Festival is an international film competition open to independent filmmakers from around the world, created to recognize outstanding films, filmmakers and creative achievements.

We accept films of all genres and lengths, including narrative films, documentaries, animation and music videos.

Each submission is evaluated by the festival jury. There are no Official Selection, Finalist, Semi-Finalist or Nominee distinctions. A limited number of awards are presented once a year, and the jury's decisions are final.

All winners receive an official Winner Laurel and a personalized digital certificate and become part of the permanent Soulplace Palmarès. Winners also automatically qualify for the Soulplace Global Awards at no additional cost.

Soulplace Film Festivals are digital-first competitions. No physical screenings, ceremonies or attendance are required. Submission of a film does not imply or guarantee a public screening.

By submitting your film, you confirm that you own or control the necessary rights to submit the work and authorize Soulplace to use the film title, trailer or teaser, poster, production stills, synopsis and credited names for festival-related editorial and promotional purposes. Soulplace will never make the complete film publicly available without separate authorization from the rights holder.

Submission fees cover jury evaluation, administration and festival operations and are therefore non-refundable. Multiple films may be submitted by the same filmmaker. Each film is automatically considered for all applicable awards at no additional cost.

Films not in English must include English subtitles when necessary for the jury to properly evaluate the work. Submitted viewing copies must meet reasonable technical standards for image and sound quality.

Soulplace reserves the right to reject submissions that are incomplete, technically unviewable, unlawfully submitted, or contain illegal content, incitement to violence or hatred, or extremist propaganda.

By submitting a film, the applicant confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Rules & Terms.
