Opi, a festival in the heart of the Abruzzo National Park

An amazing medieval village within the Abruzzo National Park, in a natural amphitheater between mountains and woods. It houses extremely rare animals such as the Marsican brown bear, the Abruzzo chamois, the Apennine wolf, the golden eagle, the lynx.

The event is sponsored by the Municipality of Opi, the Pro Loco of Opi, the Italian Association “I Borghi più belli d’Italia” (“The most beautiful small villages in Italy”) and the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise.

Opi Soulplace Film Festival promotes cinema talents and local territories that are not well known, or are still understimate or forgotten: we call them “soulplaces”.
